Hello

I think I need a whizz kid for this

I have IMAP accounts and some folders are configured to

1 Keep messages for this account on this computer (and the inbox in particular)

2 Synchronize all messages locally regardless of age

Now I've just deleted two messages in the inbox directly on the server (ymail) but the emails are still visible in Thunderbird after clicking on "get all messages". Is this normal? I thought that they would disappear from Thunderbird automatically.

Thanks

How long did you wait? Now a day has passed, have they gone?

I see some similar and irritating happenings where I delete messages in an IMAP-connected account, and they persist in the email clients on my tablet or phone. I don't see this problem as specific to or limited to Thunderbird. :-(

Hello Zenos

Don't know if they have gone from Thunderbird as I can't remember which emails I spoke of but thanks for the confirmation on this difficult question.
