My Monzilla firefox icon won't open on my windows7 desktop? Uninstalled and re-installed and nothing?

I can't get my monzilla firefox to open? I have re-started my computer, uninstalled it and re-installed and nothing works? You click on the icon but nothing opens? My internet explorer opens and works. I have windows 7 system. It worked previously? Could an update of messed it up? Thanks

Remove that icon. Then create a new one.
