How can I get Thunderbird to work with Office365 ? Our company switched from Gmail to this and I am can't figure out how to configure the settings to make it work. We have a corporate domain which connects to the Microsoft server. Thank you.

Thunderbird supports the internet standard access methods POP3 and IMAP4. Thunderbird does NOT support Microsoft's proprietary protocols to access Exchange servers or Office 365. If your administrator does not allow IMAP access, then you won't be able to use Thunderbird with your account. Do you have any IMAP settings for the server?

There is an add-on in development to connect Thunderbird through Microsoft's Exchange ActiveSync protocol, but it is still in testing and probably not suitable for real work:

Thank you for the response. I just found out from our local IT that we do have an IMAP setting but corporate won't share it. Looks like they sunk my battleship.
