Trying to print using adobe acrobat as printer (used this link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/enable-createpdf-extension-firefox.htm) Won't work.
I have had to update Mozilla Firefox to the latest version (55.0.3 (64-bit) and now when I go to Print and set "Adobe Acrobat" as my printer it won't work. I even tried to 1 File 2) Print to PDF and it didn't do anything. I have tried various "Add-ons" with no success either. Under Tools, I have put Adobe Acrobat DC as my default PDF viewer.
I found this link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/enable-createpdf-extension-firefox.htm (updated June 2017) and there is no more Adobe Acrobat DC add-on (I do have the DC software on my desktop and it is running the latest updates).
It is only having issues in Mozilla Firefox, not Internet Explorer, my personal documents being converted to pdf, etc. So not sure what has changed to prevent me from printing to PDF.
I get the following error in Notepad:
%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%% %%[Page: 1]%% %%[ Error: invalidfileaccess; OffendingCommand: shfill ]%%
Stack: /DeviceRGB
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

Do you get that error printing any web page, or do particular pages cause the problem?
I assume you get the normal prompt to select a folder and file name first before that error message comes up. Since the error mentions "invalidfileaccess" does it make any difference if you select a different output location?
