How am I supposed to use my gmail account now that firefox's latest upgrade no longer supports javascript?
For about a week now, when I try to access my gmail account, it will only be given to me in "basic" view (which sux). I read on here somewhere that with firefox's latest update it no longer supports javascript (which apparently is what my gmail is associated with). I have done all the trouble shooting options and everything is as it should be, except for firefox and my gmail. I do not have a problem getting my mail, just viewing it in the "standard" view that I am accustomed to ... if I cant get that view back, I will have to choose another browser.

Hi, Javascript IS supported - you are thinking of Java which is completely different: Why do Java, Silverlight, Adobe Acrobat and other plugins no longer work?
I think it gives you the Basic version when you have a slow connection, but there may be a setting in Gmail that you can change. If not, try deleting ALL references toGmail. To do that, open the 3-bar menu, choose History (looks like a clock), then click the Show All History link at the bottom of the list to open the Library window. Search for Gmail by typing it into the Search History field in the top-right corner, then press Enter. Now in the search results, right-click on Gmail, and select Forget About This Site. (Browsing and download history, cookies, cache, active logins, passwords, saved form data, exceptions for cookies, images and pop-ups for that site will be removed). Give it a minute to complete the deletion then try the site (not from an old bookmark) again. More - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox
