Firefox says up to date but new version has been released.

My Firefox version is 56.0 on 64 bit system. When I check Firefox it says up to date but I understand that Firefox version 56.0.1 has been released.

For a few days after a new release, the flow of updates is limited so that if there are severe issues, it won't hit everyone all at once.

Also, occasionally a .1 update has fixes that are not high priority for your OS. You can see what changes were made on this page:
