WHY HAS FIREFOX DELETED THE CRUCIAL ADVANCED TAB?
Monumental stupidity and ignorance has once again prevailed at firefox, as, inexplicably, the 'advanced' option has now been removed on the dark grey side-bar from firefox 56 options .
How am now supposed to check the 'warn me' box for page re-directs? This option could only be found in the advanced tab!

Not going to go very far. Anyways....as a Firefox Support Volunteer I can see your frustrated. Might find something in this search : https://www.google.ca/search?q=firefox+56+how+to+prevent+page+redirects&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=uPD2Wf-7IIqX0gKT9LvgCQ
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/redirect-control/ Redirect Control This add-on enables the user to allow or deny redirects from web pages. You can also create rules to allow redirects that you approve of.
