why does browser window not clear after pressing "home"

more options

I have "about:blank" set as my home page. When I am finished with a web page, pressing "home" used to clear the page and leave me with a blank page. Now it does not, it will not clear the last page accessed. My Firefox is current and recently updated

Hi orchidjulie, we had another report of the same thing this morning, with about:blank as the home page:

https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1183233 (unsolved)

In that case, clicking the Home button a second time completes the process.

I would be surprised if this was due to a change in Firefox. Maybe the two of you share an add-on in common??
