Hello, I'd use another browser just for the webinar, and then uninstall it when you are finished!

Do you have any problems with Firefox on their web pages?

This message may merely indicate that they aren't supporting Firefox officially and have tested their website with Firefox. It is quite possible that the website is working without any problems.
