Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 64-bit Firefox activity interrupts download in progress in Chrome browser. The only way to hope to get a long download (hours) to complete, is to close Firefox and don't open it, use it, or run it, while download in progress in neighboring browser. Hi, you could be using any other Browser also they would all interfere. Bandwidth is split between everything that uses it. If want to watch youtube do not download. Save your downloading for the times when reading or walking away for awhile or late at night. Suggest get a IDM, 11 to choose from. Your bandwidth will still be spilt by all programs that use the internet but with a IDM the file will come in faster. https://www.lifewire.com/free-download-managers-4129266
