Thank you for your question, in order to better understand what is happening, are you asking about your support.mozilla.org username?

Firefox Sync uses the email address as your username.

I created a new username for support.mozilla.org after being unable to access firefox sync using my email and password yesterday. However I just tried again now and it allowed me to log in so it appears whatever the problem was is now sorted. Thanks for your reply guigs.
