firefox portable crash
Hi everybody, I have a minor but very frustrating issue with my firefox. I have to use this portable USB stick in order to digitally sign documents, and it contains a preinstalled Firefox Portable which is the one I have to use because of certificates. Every time I put the stick in, I shut down the locasl Firefox installation, then I start the portable one, and here is the problem: EVERY time it crashes, sometimes just the tabs (The "gah - blablabla" error), often the whole application, and somtimes even the crash reporter. After that I'm asked to start it in safe mode and everything works great. Never had an issue in my previous Win7 setup, but I recently upgraded to Win10.
I tried a firefox refresh, system checks (SFC, DISM), and nothing worked.
The same stick, on my Win7 Laptop, works without any trouble.
After refreshing my local Firefox, before making any change, I retried to start the portable version, but no changes in the outcome.
Any advice is gretly appreciated, thanks!

Try using a clean new Portable as possible corruption in the one you are using. Possible corruption in the Profile that you are using.

Scan the USB for Malware
Thank you for the reply, but the USB stick is brand new, and is a certified one (digital signature), and the profile is a default one, except for some simple bookmarks and, off course, the digital certificates. Also, the same stick on another machine with windows 7 has no problem whatsoever, so i suspect the culprit is related to win10 or the firefox installation on it. Waiting for some new ideas, thanks!
Support for the Firefox Portable App is over here: http://portableapps.com/forums/support/firefox_portable
Firefox Portable is a 3rd party application, it is not made by Mozilla but it does have the approval of Mozilla to use the Firefox "branding" and registered images unlike many other, newer 3rd party builds that are based upon Firefox code.
