quickbooks can not longer email with new release, 60.6.1
Win 10 pro x64 t-bird version 60.6.1 outlook is not installed. (seems relevant from other forum posts)
I allowed t-bird to auto-udpate. Email functionality from QB stopped. I downloaded "Thunderbird Setup 60.6.1.exe" and reinstalled on top. This process did not fix it, as it did for 60.5.2.
What next?
For 60.5.2, at least something was getting sent, behind the scenes. It didn't allow folks to see/edit before the send took place, until we re-installed on top. For 60.6.1, nothing happens. Did some file get renamed/relocated?

...I uninstalled 60.5.2. then ran "Thunderbird Setup 60.5.2.exe", instead of running it on top. Quickbooks's emails started working again. ...I uninstall 60.5.2. then ran "Thunderbird Setup 60.6.1.exe". Quickbooks's emails worked as well.
... so I guess the moral of the story is if 60.6.1 auto-update doesn't work, download it, uninstall t-bird, and re-install from the download.

... I ran the "Thunderbird Setup 60.5.2.exe" to re-install that version on top. It did not improve things, although it states "60.5.2 (32-bit)" in the "About Mozilla Thunderbird" section.
