Although the checkbox in the settings for "Delete website data and cookies when exiting Firefox" is enabled, automatic deletion does not work. All website data is present even after restarting the computer. I use version 83 under Windows 10.

Thanks for Support

No support? I can't be the only one with this problem.

Firefox can save cookies from open tabs as part of saving session data in sessionstore.jsonlz4 in the profile folder, but if you close all the tabs and do not have cookie allow exceptions then all the cookies should be cleared when you use "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed".

Correct. Firefox should delete the files and cookies. Firefox has always done this correctly for me up to the current version. But the current version does not do this, although the checkbox is set. Even after a restart of the computer all data is still there.
