Every time I open Firefox, a page opens that is not my start page. It only lasts a few seconds then it goes to my start page. I know its not long but its annoying. How do I stop this? Its the helpful tips page.

Sounds buggy... Just curious, but can you post a pic of the page?

You can check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.

You can check that those pages aren't set as multiple homepages.

You can check the homepage setting.

Firefox supports multiple homepages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
