The new update on Firefox they changed the tool bar and made all the tabs floating it bothers me how it looks just it floating doesn't look good this is just my opinion some people like it i just wish with this update that there is a new option that allows you to choose in settings or as a addon in the Firefox addons i just want to get the old tool bar back because this one bothers me and how they changed the right click menu and the 3 bars i just want to know how to get it back without having to install anything like a addon.

I figured out how to get it fix and it is a easy way so Firefox has this thing now where you can go to a previous version i have the link set for version 88 so you can get that here is the link

Warning: Installing a previous version doesn't fix most problems

Problems with an update are generally not caused by the new version of Firefox, but rather the update process. Installing a previous version will not help in most cases. The best option is to start a new thread about your issues, where others can suggest specific solutions.

Using old versions of Firefox also poses a significant security risk.

You install it like how you installed Firefox just doing it again and its going to take over the new version of Firefox and replace it with the old so know this before you install it because you will have t sign in and then sync everything to the newer version to the old.

Hi,

I appreciate your feedback on the recently redesigned Firefox browser.

We set out in 2021 to reimagine Firefox's design to be fast, modern and inviting. With the latest 89 release, we’re bringing you a modern new look designed to streamline and calm things down so you have a fresh new web experience every time you use Firefox.

We bring a modernized and differentiated look to tabs since Firefox 89 in order to create a signature Firefox look and experience. This major redesign will help us enable more use cases and features in the future.

@seburo okay so what i read you did it because it helps the workers? that's what i read from my understanding but is it possible for the workers there able to be a addon or a setting in Firefox? because alot of people ive seen have been saying if they can't get the old design back they are going to go switch to chrome. that is just what ive heard i did not say that its something i saw but do you think it is possible to atleast download a different version of the peoples choices to the website?

Readability and a clear, contrasting interface is one of the reasons I use Firefox over Chrome. The new bright white borderless tabs are impossible to tell apart as a user, and I find it difficult to read the page URL due to the medium grey on pale grey colour scheme. Dark theme has exactly the same problem. I can only imagine what this update must be like for someone with a visual disability.

Switching to Vivaldi out of necessity.

To Mozilla How hard would it be to simply give us the choice of new vs the old format versions? Do you do surveys to find the most irritating formats? What are the ages and their backgrounds,, of the people you're using in your study groups?

I like my tabs outlined like folder Tabs in a file draw. I like my Tabs contrasted to the menu bar so they are easily identified. WHY CAN I NOT DO THIS WITHOUT A PROGRAMMERS DEGREE!!!!!

Hi, I see that you've already started your own thread at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1340088 so that is where answers to your question should go.

Because this thread is solved and more people might start using it for their own questions, I'm going to lock it.
