Hi, I'm not sure which border you mean. Here's what I see:

  • The Amazon tab looks like the mouse pointer is is "hovered" over it -- there is an 11% gray shadow applied when you hover.
  • The active tab has the white oval on it.
  • There is a bright white line between the tabs and the main toolbar.

Which of those things are bothering you?

Note: there are not built-in features to change these aspects of the tab bar styling, you would need to dive into the world of custom style rules in a userChrome.css file.

Hi there,

So, the border on the current tab is the one that is annoying me. This is only something that has been recently added following on from an update from the browser.

Kind Regards, Connor

Hi Connor, because this forum is so busy (for some reason...), I'm inclined to refer you to the style gurus over on this subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/

But more generally, are you already familiar with userChrome.css ? What would be your preferred way to know which tab is the active tab?
