It just started. The last time I did log into the account was Last month. Had no problem at all. This is a table top Dell Inspiron 3253, Win 10, firefox. Running Win defender and firewall. I did try logging in with Edge, and could get on without a problem. On another computer, Asus X55a, laptop, Win 8.1, firefox, same DSL cable. I can log in with no problem. So must be something with firefox. I have it set to auto-download any updates. I know there was one because it loaded when I turned on the computer a few days ago. I have cleared the cookies and cache. I have the same setting in both computers. I did run a DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, to see if anything was wrong. Nothing. I'm not very good with the technical part of computers and language. So many suggestions I've found are way over my head. Pleas help me.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connection certificates and send their own.
