I type my Emails on Word 10 because the spell check on my Thunderbird has disappeared and I don't know how to bring it back. Tonight I typed my message as usual on Word and then cut and pasted it onto a new Thunderbird Email page. The first two or three words on the left of the document disappeared to the left making the document unreadable. I tried typing directly onto a new Thunderbird Email page and there was no problem but I don't want to retype a 400 word document because Thunderbird won't accept my cut and pasted one.

If you copy from Word, paste into TB with Ctrl+Shift+V, Paste Without Formatting.

In Preferences(Options)/Composition/Spelling, click Download More Dictionaries to install a spell checker.
