Hello,

I was told that there would be a new feature in Firefox to allow viewing of bookmarks as thumbnail images of bookmarked pages. January was given as an ETA on that feature.

It looks like some of the functionality is already in Firefox as saving a bookmark create a miniature image of the page in the bookmark pop-up window. I did find it places that thumbnail image as a PNG file in the of %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.

Has there been any updates on this?

Thanks.

Correction on that location. These PNG files which were created by creating a bookmark in Firefox is actually in the C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\thumbnails directory.

However, those are old and I can't find where the new ones are being stored. Anyone have an idea of where they might be located now?

Added some more screen captures of the bookmark process within Firefox. Looks like a thumbnail is now created with every bookmark.

Thanks.
