The Firefox 2FA setup guide lists Google Authenticator, Authy, FreeOTP, and a few others.

Can I use Protectimus OTP for Firefox 2FA, instead of Google Authenticator or Authy, or the others listed in the 2FA guidance? I already have some other accounts set up with Protectimus and would prefer to stick with one 2FA authenticator app.

Thanks.

You can install both apps and compare the TOTP code they generate. This code is valid for thirty seconds and as long as an app generates the correct code you can use it. You may have to disable and re-enable 2FA to get a QR code you can use. You can possibly make a screenshot of the QR code or save the otpauth:// link code.
