I checked with Apple to discover that no such warning was issued.  The alert said not to try to restart my Mac mini as lost files and data could result and harm to my computer.  I took a chance and unplugged my computer, turned it back on and selected my profile not the "guest" opening.  I enter my password, it started up, I opened Foxfire browser and the thing locked up again.  I went through the process again but this time before opening further I selected a restart.  Went finished I was able to open Firefox and found the shortcut that was the guily party.  It was Titled - clownfish-app-nx84d with a URL https://clownfish-app-nx84d with what appeared a million ofter letters to long to get.  I went to the browser settings to play with the shortcut functions but to no avail.  Surely there is some way to only allow for personally programed  shortcuts and no auto placement by the browser.
