Error With Account -- Password Sending Did Not Succeed, Login Failed

As of yesterday afternoon, I cannot open my email on Thunderbird. I am given this error message:

"Sending of password for user ________________ did not succeed. Mail server mail.twc.com responded: invalid user name or password."

I have not changed my password, and after running through a couple different options with Spectrum over the phone, I still cannot access my email. I keep getting booted back to the pop-up message that gives me 3 options, "Enter New Password," "Cancel," and "Retry." Clicking retry or entering my password again opens the same error message above. What is going on?

Does that same password sign you in to Spectrum webmail?

Yes, I believe it is. I have tried signing on the spectrum login portal here: https://webmail.spectrum.net/mail/auth but it also does not work.

That would suggest strongly that your password has been changed. I'd contact Spectrum again and go through their steps to reset the password over the phone, as you don't have mail access.
