thunderbird
Hello
In september I got a new computer and then reinstalled windows (10) as well as thunderbird but since them, and unlike on my former pc (win10 64 too, never had an issue for years), the app is constantly crashing at least once per day.
I get this logged :

What could I do to fix this? thank you

the app is constantly crashing at least once per day.
Is it crashing, or just hanging? In the latter case, do you get a "Not responding" notification in the title bar?
Also, what is your anti-virus software?
It's hanging . yes, with a not responding notification in the bar. usually, I need to close it using ctrl+alt+del and delete the process. but sometimes it will work just by clicking on close then will popup the windows (this program is not responding) and to force closing
I m not using any anti virus beside windows defender
Anti-virus software is most likely the culprit here.
Create an exception in your anti-virus software for the Thunderbird profile folder, so that the anti-virus real-time scanner will not scan it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_how-to-find-your-profile
Also, keep it working. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keep_it_working_-_Thunderbird
And last but not least, backup your Thunderbird profile on a regular basis. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile
I do not use antivirus . just windows builtin defender

Fine. And guess what Defender is.
