I made the mistake of installing Norton Private Browser on my Win10 laptop, and it took over the browser extensions as the default program. I tried making Firefox the default browser again and Windows took me to the Settings menu. Firefox is no longer in the list of browsers. Is there a way to fix this situation? Thanks.

Did you try reinstalling Firefox?

Not yet. Kind of unsure whether Windows/Norton would block the reinstall.
