Firefox using Spanish as primary language even though I am back in the US

I was in South America in September and used some websites in Spanish. I am back in US and, when I use Google, it finds Spanish websites sometimes. How do I get Firefox to show only English websites?

Some sites automatically redirect you to a site in the local language.

There is usually a link on such websites choose a language or go to an international version that allows to chose the language.

Clear the Google cookies: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
