Why, as of last night, do I keep getting the message that the security certificate is not valid on sites I use all the time, like my hotmail account, paypal, facebook, etc?

I even got that message when I tried to post my question! It says that Firefox cannot verify a secure connection with mozilla, or whatever website I'm trying to visit, because the security certificate is not valid. It even gives the dates that the certificate will be valid, and the date shows that it is valid. So frustrating!! I have to "override" Firefox every time.

Thanks edmeister, that was the problem!

I have the same problem but I've corrected the time on my windows clock and I still got the same problem. Do you know if there's anything else I can do?

Did you also check the Date (Year) ?

Is there any additional information in the message about what is wrong?

If you retrieve the certificate by following the steps ("I Understand the Risks" > "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate"), who is the issuer of the certificate?

Time & date are correct, that was never the problem. The following is under Technical Details:

fv-zprod-tc-0.farmville.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for connect.facebook.net (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

There is no option to bypass. I can not access my game. Very annoying to say the least.

Some sites like Facebook have a setting to force a secure connection.

You can look at this link on how to disable forcing a secure connection in Facebook.
