404 error nginx on google. All other websites work.
I receive 404 error nginx on google whenever I try to access the search page. If I inquire about the problem on another search page it sends me to the google page and I receive the same error. All other web pages can be accessed, but not google or google support. My operating system is Winxp pro.

It's not a browser problem, it is probably a rootkit on your PC intercepting calls to google and redirecting them to a fake site.
I had the same problem on my laptop, used combofix to remove the rootkit and now it is working again.

combofix (after a full AV scan and three malware searches) still didn't fix for me. is this a proxy hijack?
You should just clear your firefox cache and it works...
