I cannot uninstall the Sweet IM Search Box. I've uninstalled all the programs associated with SweetIM, but cannot get rid of the Search Box. Any suggestions?
I downloaded MSN Messenger and Sweet IM came with it as a mail handling service, along with a toolbar. I've read that SweetIM is spyware. I've uninstalled every program that had Sweet IM assoc. with it including MSN Messenger, but the Sweet IM search box is now attached to my Mozilla Firefox start up page. I've checked my files, too. Not there. How do I get rid of this pest?

type about:config on the address bar. filter text "keyword"
right click on keyword.URL and select reset

To REMOVE the sweetim tool bar in Mozilla Firefox U must do the following after uninstalling it from the programs if it's still on the toolbar: Go up to TOOLS on the browser, scroll down 2 ADD-ONS. The Add-Ons Manager box will open in a new tab. Scroll down to: EXTENSIONS & there will B a box to disable or remove SWEETIM toolbar. Click on REMOVE & U should restart Ur Computer & it should B GONE... GONE.... FREAKEN' GONE!!!!!
