Firefox4 always starts with 'WorkOff line' ticked and I have to manually untick it; how do I get it start with 'workoff' line unticked?

I have just installed Firefox 4 but when I try to start it I get an error message telling me that Firefox is working offline and cannot connect to the internet. I have to go to file, untick 'work off line' and everything works perfectly. However, when I shut down Firefox and re-start, I have to go through the same process again. How do I get Firefox to start each time working on line please? Many thanks Bill

You can try this:

Create a new Boolean pref with the name network.manage-offline-status and set the value to false.

Right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and use "New > Boolean" to create a new Boolean pref.

Name: network.manage-offline-status
Value: false

Thank you for your advice but it looks dangerously complicated messing about with the system. Previous versions of Firefox always worked online automatically when started; why is this one different? It is I admit a small step to go to File and then unclick Work Off line but why should I have to do this every time I start Firefox? As a result, Firefox is no longer my default browser.
