firefox won't auto dial at startup, but IE does. Need firefox setting. Tried below with partial success.
I've done the things suggested from searches; -CP/InternetOptions/Connections/DialWhenever... -CP/AdminTools/Services/RemAccConnManager/Started & auto -CP/AdminTools/Services/RemAccAutoConnManager/Started & auto -CP/AdminTools/Services/Telephony/Started & auto -firefox/about:config/network.autodial-helper.enabled/True -firefox/tools/options/advanced/network/connections/settings/NoProxy & AutoDetectProxy -firefox 3.04 & 4.0
Since InternetExplorer immediately auto dials when started, that says Windows is setup correctly. It is like firefox is not telling Windows it needs a connection.
For a short while it started auto dialing, but there was a 20 to 40 second delay after firefox started before it dialed. When I restored a backup to see if programs installed after firefox were causing the problem, I couldn't get it to work again even with the delay, but the dialer program can still make the connection and then firefox works, and IE will still auto dials.
It sure seems like something needs to be set in firefox so that it tells windows to make a connection when it starts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
