Since I switched to Firefox 4, youtube videos no longer display pre-loading/buffering. This limits my ability to watch youtube video. Is there any way I could get this functionality back?

In previous versions of Firefox (and all other browsers) youtube videos indicate how much of the vid is preloaded/buffered by a transparent red line in the video's seek bar. When I hit play and then pause a vid, it would start buffering. I used to buffer vids this way cause my internet connection doesn't have that good response times, so the video would lag otherwise. But ever since I switched to Firefox 4, there is no transparent red line in the seek bar. I don't know whether there's no buffering going on, or if it's just not indicated anymore, but it limits my ability to watch youtube videos.

Please see the answer to the same question here- http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/820292

Or like elorz007 said in the above link, you can use the following steps-

I solved it by cleaning all my caché, preferences... (except my history):

Click the orange Firefox menu-> History -> Clean Recent History (or something of the sort, my firefox is in Spanish). An alternative is to press Control+Shift+Del
In the window that pops, click on details and check all the boxes except the first two.
In the dropdown menu select the option to clean everything (not just last hour or so)
Click on clean now Warning, this will delete your cookies, cache, active sessions and site preferences
