I'm using Windows XP - SP3, and Firefox 4.01 My windows screen is set at 1024 x 768. I want my browser screen to show no slide bar at the bottom of the screen (so that all horizontal info is displayed, wrapping if necessary). None of the suggestions in Firefox help discussions an option for this. Zoom crushes my screen down vertically, but does not bring all the screen into view horizontally, so I still have a bottom slide bar.

If a website specifies a fixed width or otherwise needs more horizontal space the you can't avoid a horizontal scroll bar unless you would zoom out, but that would make everything smaller. With all the wide screen LCD monitors from nowadays website often need much more horizontal space and 1024px may not be enough anymore.
