Having been infected by a Lsas blaster which affected Trusteer Rapport and Firefox I removed Firefox which I now regret. If I download Firefox again would my favourites still be there?

I would like to ask also software could I use to remove stuff that has been cached and clean up my registry and other areas. My computer is much slower than it was. I did download AVG...would that slow the computer down. I also use Microsoft Essentials. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Eldur.

If you selected the option to remove all Firefox data and customizations when you un-installed Firefox, that data is gone. If not, when you install Firefox again it should pickup and use that data.
