When I start to attempt to do anything online that requires adobe flash plugin for firefox the cpu usage skyrockets and becomes unusable and actually cause major slowdown issues in my entire computer. The heat sink fan turns up extremely high and the cpu core temp breaks 72C. The applications attempting to use flash plug in are unusable or to laggy to use effectively at best.

Computer specs: AMD Anthlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50 Ghz 4.00 GB Crucial Ballistix ram Nvidia 8500gt Graphics Card 1GB ram this is not onboard

So I am pretty sure it is not a hardware issue any help would be appreciated. I am running the current version of firefox 5.0 all plugins extensions and add-ons are current and up to date.

Also would like to note that internet explorer does not have this problem, I would prefer to figure out why this is happening and resolve it as I hate IE.
