I've changed some user names and passwords to several sites I visit often and can't figure out how to delete the old user names and passwords from the choices Firefox displays when it wants to log me in.

Choose “tools” menu and click “options”. Select the “security” tab on the new window. you will see "passwords" area. click on saved passwords and then you see the list of saved passwords there you can delete. Click “OK” to proceed.

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

Firefox will remember new form data when entered.


Or remove them via the Password Manager as posted above.
