How do I save a particular website to my desktop?

When I go to a particular web site and want to place it on my desktop, previously when IE was my web browser, I would right click, scroll down the drop box and then left click on save (or send to) desktop. How do I implement the same procedure on Firefox, being that there is no directive on the drop box to carry this out?
