Make sure that your norton addon enable? Go to about:addons-extension and check See:
tried your advice.When in add on enable it says both norton files are not compatible with firefox 8. I tried norton live update many times. I am on the latest level of norton and windows 7
Just noticed your info seems to refer to norton internet security.I am using norton 360
The patch is applicable for Norton 2011, 2012 also Norton 360 v5, make sure do you have it?
