It doesn't matter what website I might be at - even if I am Firefox Help - Firefox version 9.0.1 suddenly & seemingly more & more often just closes down for no reason. When I try to restart Firefox it then tells me that Firefox is already running - when it's not. The only way I can log on to Firefox again is to manually shut down my computer. A prime example: A few days ago I was on a job board just looking at posted jobs & Firefox just closes down - it want let me restart Firefox because it indicates that it's already running. I have to shut down my computer. I restart Firefox go back to the job board & even go to apply for a job - I get almost to the very end of the lengthy application process & Firefox closes down & I lose all the info for that job application - what's more I once again have to shut down my computer just to regain control. Due to Firefox closing down during the final steps of that job application I was unable to return to the job site & complete the application because the entire process had been locked out due to Firefox's closing down. I was not a happy camper. Due to the sudden & constant closing of Firefox - I have been using IE & have begun searching alternative browsers.
