firefox 18.0 can't open a web page

I installed Firefox 18.0.1 and when I start it, firefox does open but I cannot open any web page. It just keeps searching and searching. But never upload a web pagen no matter which page it is. And I am connected to the internet as I can open any pages with Safari or Google chrome. When I unistall v 18.0.1 and go back to 17.0.1, Firefox works fine. The info I pasted below is from v 17 I use window 7
