Mozilla will not install on my system

Vista system, and I meet all H/W requirements. I get to the "Firefox Setup 19.0.2" file, hit run, looks like it is running, and then...nothing. No Setup Wizard ever comes up, and Mozilla is not installed on the system. I have tried "run" from the Mozilla setup file on disk, and nothing happens. I have never had this problem with any other browser download (I have MS and Chrome installed, with Chrome as default). Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello mark115, try to disable your security software (anti-virus/firewall/antispyware) temporarily to see if that allows to install Firefox.

otherwise try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that help you (If works in Windows Safe mode then you have a problem with other software, like security software[antivirus, firewall] or a system driver, that is running on your computer).
