DHCP is used to assign IP addresses dynamically to networked devices. Firefox connects to the network through Windows, and as far as I know, doesn't have a setting to independently interact with a DHCP server.

Therefore, I think this question would be better addressed to a forum with networking experts and/or Windows experts. You could try this one: http://windowssecrets.com/forums/
