Hello, Start Firefox in Safe Mode
If the idea above dont solve the problem try scannyour pc: Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

I want to thank you all for your help. For many of us facing this problem with Searchfindwide.com I recomend you all be very careful as to what you download in the future. This was a very bad malicious maleware and is a pain in the neck. I want to thank Victor Diego for his advice. It has helped 90% of the problem and the downloads he offers has no maleware or viruses. They are safe programs and will surely resolve this problem if done carefully. I probably wouldnt have found the solution 100% without his post. Thank you so much. For those like me that are a dummy with computers need more than a step by step instruction. You also need a visual aid to getting rid of this malicious maleware. I descovered this link which helped me destroy the maleware. http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-findwide-search-virus/ It has helped because it gave me not only step by step instruction but visual pictures where and how to click on everything. I wanted to post the link for others here facing this same problem. Its time consuming and a bit stressfull going through all those steps but I promise its well worth It in the end. The maleware doesnt exist anywhere on my PC anymore. Good luck everyone.
