Firefox wont allow me to download any Add-Ons after doing a reset
Even after doing a reset on FireFox I still can't download any add-ons and I am not told as to why I can't download them or how to fix the problem

Are you trying to install from the Add-ons site? For example:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/google-translator-for-firefox/
Do you get an error message?
Go to Mozilla.org and get the full installer. Then try again.
