A Facebook game reloads from scratch everytime I press the refresh button only on FF 32, Why?
The Facebook game in question is Happy Acres: https://apps.facebook.com/happyacres/ . My problem : When playing Happy Acres using FF 32, the game always has to reload like an update is happening, every time I play it, either when the browser is closed or during a current session, i.e 30 seconds later. The thing is, that the game did not have the problem using FF 31. I don't have the problem playing the game on Chrome. I am using Cyberfox but I can confirm that the issue also occurs using Firefox as well.

Please try Firefox Safe Mode to make sure that none of the add ons are refreshing the cookies used for the flash game: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
Thanks for the response, I have tried your suggestion, same result.
I've also tried creating a new profile in Firefox 32 as well, I did also downgrade to Firefox 31 to be 100% certain of what I said was true, and it is. I've upgraded back to 32.0.2.
Any other suggestions?

HI alexredmon77, I just also tried a fresh install of Firefox 31, then updated to today's update to version 32.0.3. The session restore button got be back to a facebook page that was no longer logged in. But once I logged back in the game still remembered how many coins I had, but noticed I was on version 14 of Flash. I updated it and it worked still.
Are you flash settings set to allow local storage to save the game status? http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlay.../WS6aa5ec234ff3f285139dc56112e3786b68c-7fff.html
Hi guigs2, thanks for responding. To answer your question:
"Are you flash settings set to allow local storage to save the game status"?
Yes it is, and flash is current, awaiting for the next update for Flash, since IE has been updated.
Is it possible that there is a stored cookie that may have become corrupted? Please see the solution for this issue for more investigation: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1001421
I've checked my email and saw your message.
I have tried the suggestions in that article, i.e Resetting Firefox and removing cookies.sqlite. However the problem remains unresolved. I talked to the developer of the game as well, before I posted my question, and he had no answer.
I've tested playing said game using IE 11 (my 3rd browser) and Opera Beta ( my 4th browser), the problem does not occur on either, just Firefox 32.0.3.
Edited question for clarity.

Start your Computer in safe mode. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites.
That's was a terrible experience Fred, same result. Hopefully I didn't have to do that again, if I Don't need to, LOL. from 1920 x 1280 to 640 x 480.
Anyway, that's what Troubleshooting is all about, but why that?
Sorry, but sometimes to find the source of a problem, first you have to find out what is not the problem.
Without mentioning names, I did have a problem with a plugin (missing & disabled) on another browser that was solved using Safe Mode and WinPatrol. So Safe Mode is a great tool.
Doing some detective work with an add -on View Dependencies (drop to the review section to install a version that works with latest FF). Then going to Tools to Page Info, then to the View Dependencies tab, these are the screenshots that I have, which describes my problem.
One is from Firefox version 31 and the other is from Firefox version 32.
Notice the 10 items that are not save to cache on FF32.
I also have the same problem with a second game using FF 32 as well. https://apps.facebook.com/marketland/
Have you tried the other suggestions?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
- Clear the Cache and
- Remove Cookies Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.
Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.
- Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
- Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.
If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar
Select Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
Then restart.
To respond to your questions Fred :
Every few days or when I have problems with a game I clean the cache, both using Firefox itself & CCleaner. While I'm at it, I removed to cookies & the Flash cookies that are not critical via the same. Both games' cookies are cleaned regular since they do not save any info, and if there removed no big deal. That was last done 12 hrs ago.
I've resetted Firefox a couple of times + restarted Firefox in Safe Mode several x's + create new profiles. I've uninstalled Firefox and used all the steps in this article. Standard diagnostic - Firefox Which I have bookmarked. I read and have read again all the Firefox help articles. I do that whether I have a problem or not.
I have turned off Hardware Acceleration for both Firefox & Flash.
I've uninstalled and reinstall Flash a couple of times.
Whatever I do I continue to have the same problem with the 2 games. I play other Flash games on Facebook, but I not have the problems in those games.
Again saying: The problems that I have, do not occur using Google Chrome 38, IE 11, Opera Next 25, or FF 31 and under, including Pale Moon 24 (won't upgrade to 25, yet), only FF 32.*.
If you have a problem with only one game, it could be something about the game itself. You will have to wait until someone who can access the game checks this out.
I have a problem with 2 games, and neither developer has a solution, that's why I posted my question.
Edit a third game has the same issues, however 4 games I play do not.
The first game I've talk to the developers back and forth, playing tag. Sent another email an hour ago. While at it, I did create another windows account. If I thought it was worth I would refresh my computer, again.

I'm determine to figure out the problem, I don't like using 3 browsers.
So I've I got to an issue concerning this preference - Browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl
If I set it to false, then the browser behaves properly. I use Firefox regularly for about 10 years, when the default for this was false. However when I set it to true, that's when the issue occurs.
