Bookmark order gets changed in my Bookmarks toolbar
I have noticed that my bookmarks order gets changed on my Desktop Firefox (Mac and Linux). I change it back repeatedly and it still gets changed.
So far none of the bookmarks have been lost as far as I can see though. I had been using these two desktop browsers for more than six months without an issue. However I have recently added Firefox Sync on a MotoG3 - w/ default settings just like I have used Android sync before w/o an issue. (In fact I just checked and there is no such option to modify order/sorting on Android)
I have also confirmed that Sorting option is "Unsorted" on my desktops.

This is likely caused by Sync if you use this n all affected computers.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

I tried that add-on. Cleaned it, on both my laptops keeping them side by side and rearranged the bookmarks the way I want and then tried to sync and the bookmarks were arranged again in the same random order that I don't.
I tried all the combination - after using the add-on (I tried all the preset options):
- Rearrange bookmarks on one machine and sync on another - Rearrange on both and sync on another - Sync together - Not force syncing and let it sync on its own.
None of these worked and the bookmarks would just be rearranged.
