Youtube hangs for a moment when watching a video
Hello, a few days ago Youtube began freezing on my every time I opened a video. It freezes (saying that firefox is not responding) for about 10 to 20 seconds before it comes back and the video plays without any more issues. However, sometimes it freezes when I open the video page, then freezes again when the video starts to load. I can still hear the video playing in the background during these freezes, as well. I do not know what caused the issue as one day it worked fine, then when I wake up the next day this issue appeared. I have tried multiple fixes that I have seen, including using the Youtube flash player and adding certain strings to my Ad Block Plus, but nothing seems to work. I have also made sure that all of my plugins and everything are updated.

Please update to the most recent version of Firefox:
What is an example url where this is happening, we can eliminate codec and player as an issue with an example. Cheers.

It happens on every Youtube video. Though here is an example link for you, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZL94GLP_oU
check this:
- see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

The problem still occurs after doing those steps, now most videos wont even load at all saying that "There was an issue, please try again later." Yet it still freezes twice before hand, one during loading the page and one after even after the video already says that there was an issue.
Those did not help either, sadly.
I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.
Thank you, forgive me for the late reply. I have come to find out that when a youtube video is embedded on another website, it works fine for me. The issue only occurs on Youtube's website itself.
Does this happen in both Waterfox and Firefox?
Yes, I mostly use Waterfox - though I have tried both Firefox and Waterfox to see if the issue persisted. Sadly, it still happens either way.
