using Android 4.4.2. can't play youtube videos (use to) tried installing flash 11.1.115.81 several times, no help.
Flash doesn't show in add-on list Also tried "Video Without Flash 3.1.2" no change. When attempting play, I get "No video with supported format and MIME type found" on the video screen. Any suggestions?

Hi janebabe
In order for us to help you, please let us know the following troubleshooting details:
- your android tablet or phone make and model
- your version of Firefox for Android. We recommend you use the latest which is FF42 for Android released last Tue Nov 3, 2015
- what you did, what happened and what happened. I understand you were simply trying to watch Youtube videos but it would really helpful if could copy and paste the URLs of 2 or more videos that aren't working!
Cheers!

Roland The tablet is a Verizon Elipsis Mod: QTAQZ3 SW version QZ3_31F27 Firefox 42.0
I have been unable to view any youtube videos, but a couple I tried tonight are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtLxCOFcoS8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJv6x6TN1bw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=045__ojHb_g When selected, I get the loading circle for just a couple of seconds then a short flash of the ICON, then an X in the middle of the screen with "No video with supported format and MIME type found". If I then tap the screen where the video should play, I get the ICON which partially covers the statement "An error occurred. Please try" then the Pic covers up the rest.. Another tap brings up the ICON with the control bar but nothing else happens. It works fine in Chrome, but I much prefer the Firefox I'm familiar with. This is my first Android and there are enough problems with the learning curve (for an old man like me) without adding browser headaches.
Thanks Wes
Hi wes aka janebabe (off topic question, is there some sort of humorous back issue with your username :-) ?)
Anyhow, have you tried uninstalling flash player?
Android Settings -> Apps (or Application manager) -> tap on Flash Player -> tap on Uninstall
Also try uninstalling "Video Without Flash 3.1.2" please. Haven't tested "Video Without Flash 3.1.2" but it's possible it might be causing issues.
On the Android 5 and 6 tablets I have tested, those youtube videos work fine both with Flash player installed and without Flash player installed
I will try and find an Android 4.4 tablet tomorrow!
Let me know please what you find out if you have time to test!
Cheers!

Uninstalled Flash - no change. Uninstalled video without Flash - no change. Uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox - no change. I did stumble across "updates available" (sorry. I'm just beginning with Android, and trying to relate it to windows) and updated to Android 5.1.1 All appears well. Thanks
