Where are my E mails ???????????????
What have they done? Each day I would click on Thunderbird for my onvol account to check my E mails, now since yesterday when my pc said not to switch off as it was installing updates. I now find I click on and no E mails (God what the Hell have they done now) I was so used to the Old Thunderbird but now I think its time to give it the elbow, what a pain (Or is this what they call Progress?)

Can you explain the issue with a bit more information.
re: since yesterday when my pc said not to switch off as it was installing updates. Q: What updates ? A Windows update? A Thunderbird update? An anti-virus update?
Q: What OS are you using? Q: What version of Thunderbird are you using now?
re :I was so used to the Old Thunderbird The current version is 45.4.0. Q: What do you mean by 'old thunderbird' ....what version?
re : I now find I click on and no E mails
This is such a broad sweeping statement that it doesn't explain what you see or don't see.
I presume 'I click on' means when you start up thunderbird. However 'no E mails', could mean several things.
Q: Do you see all your mail accounts in the Folder Pane ?
Q: Do you see all your folders in the Folder Pane? Q: If no, what folders do you see and what folders are missing?
Q: Are the folders visible but empty ? Q: If yes, does this effect all your folders ?
Q: If folders are visible, do you have an 'invisible' list of emails, so if you click in the list where the emails should be, do you then see the opened email in the lower Message Pane?
Q: Do you have POP or IMAP mail accounts or a mix of both? Q: Does this effect only IMAP account or POP or both?
Q: When you select 'Get all new messages', what happens ? Q: Does it display info like 'sending logon info' or 'Connecting' etc in the bottom 'Status Bar'...what do you see?
Q: Do you get an error message? Q: If yes, what does it say...word for word?
Q: Can you download new messages? Q: Can you send emails ?
Post images if it helps to explain your situation with a visual aid. Please answer each Q: to create a better picture of what is going on.
