So I'm using Firefox 56.0.2 on a Windows 8.1 tablet. Previously I had an older version (don't remember which one exactly unfortunately), so my problems started after upgrading. Previously quick touch controls press worked exactly like a left click with a mouse would while long press worked exactly as a right mouse click. It was the same with 56.0.2 initially, yet one day with no warnings touch controls randomly changed their behaviour. Quick press still opens links and can scroll pages, but it now completely refuses to select text. Long press instead of simply bringing up a context menu now both brings up a context menu and selects a word underneath with weird blue drops movable borders: https://imgur.com/kP7UgQU Long press now also opens links on certain websites like YouTube. Rolling back to FF50, launching FF, closing it down and immediately upgrading back to 56.0.2 fixes the problem for a couple of days, yet it comes back randomly on day 3 or 4. So the question is, why does it happen and how can I disable it for good.

Hi, since version 56.02 and below are unsupported and insecure suggest possibly update to the Extended Release Version 60.0.2esr Firefox ESR does not come with the latest features but it has the latest security and stability fixes.

Suggest do this if you do :

You can try this : go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions un-check (remove a tick in the box) the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I'm stuck with 56.0.2 because it's the last version to support Classic Theme Restorer. Does 60.0.2esr still support it as well?
